:naughty: They could implement the Shield in Source, as long as they limit it to like one per team. Only the person with the shittiest score may get it, or the best score, whichever... this way it makes the players have to use it tactically. Like when you're rushing, the dude with the shield in front and some others in back of him to provide cover.
wow, I'm not the only person in the whole world who thinks that sheilds are lame. Any way, reasons for these things (that I have come up with and that arnt based on statesments from anyone):
1. No tactical sheild: many people dislike the tactical sheild and even it's most avid fans have to admit that it's lame when you get a whole CT team using the damn things. Or maybe it's just because they finnally realised that CS was at it's best back in 1.5.... (well, exept the auto snipers, but they're just silly now, fun, but silly none the less)
2. Only one skin per side: because valve havent finalised heights/body shapes for the player models. When they finally do reach an agreeable size for most people, because they'll never satisfy every one, they'll bring other modles like the L337 krew and the SAS.
The different models also confuse some players. Theres just too many to remember. I remember playing the original CS for many years and still accidently TKing and getting TKed due to mistaken identity.
