2 X-men spinoff movies in the works

I knew about the Wolverine, but not the Magneto...

Oh God I hope they don't screw these up...

The Wolverine one could have a lot of promise (and could be really good) if they follow the Wolverine story arcs. It should start with him like walking through the Canadian wilderness and then he'll come across certain objects or even people in his travel that evoke a memory whether it be his birth in the 1800s, his time in the Weapon X program, his wandering "samurai" days, his wife (name escapes me). I think it could be really good.

Same goes with Magneto. His life during the Holocaust, meeting Xavier for the first time, etc.

they could introduce Alpha flight

Knew about both and they seem very interesting ideas.

Why don't they do that proffessor guy instead of the Wolverine? Seeing as Magneto is kinda' like his counter-part.

Because they meet up, so if two movies were made about it, essentially from the point at which they meet the movies would be the same. Plus Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is more hardcore than Professor Picard

wasnt Magento in a death camp in germany? or something close to that at least?

Magneto is a survivor of the Auschwitz death camp. As a young boy with his power over magnetism not yet developed, he and his family were persecuted for their Jewish heritage. Magneto witnessed the murder of his family by the Nazis during the Holocaust. He alone survived and was sent into the camps being forced by the Nazis to work in the Sonderkommandos.
.

it also shows it briefly at the start of the first movie, when he warps the gates of the camp.

But if the Magneto one is set for WWII, they won't be able to have Ian McKellon do them. Unless if they do that digital make-ever thing again, but that might be too expensive.

edit: NVM, read the IMDB link. So he is in it...
