i remember hearing that someone, somewhere was making a moby dick film and even though this looks atrocious, the fact that it's by the asylum and in itself isn't really going to be anything serious, worthwhile of people interests or a big studio production companies quick cash-in of a book, i don't really mind as much. i won't watch it, but it won't be glaring or in my face as a remake of the tale because it's just another one of those shit cgi bad actor list films made in like a week. it's still a butchering of the classic, mind, but at least it's not going to go down as a big screen, big budget movie that did badly unintentionally.
