The title of my course, 21st Century Science. The article about it in the letter I got was very ****ing missleading. It stated we'd bhe looking at new technology. Do you know what we covered today? Evolution (how much ****ing evolution has happened in the last 5 years?), group phychology and Saddam Husain (WTF!). Ower instructor hates MP3 players and labtops, is bad at maths, writes everything on the board as if there are deaf people in the class and doesn't know the course material very well (he constantly checks the book on information.

Maybe you should talk to the teacher, or some one in charge who could sort it out?
that does seem quite terrible that your course was about science and technology, yet you don't even have a teacher which likes/knows about this stuff.

Evolution is slow, your teacher probably thinks he knows all, and you guys don't listen. Try proving him wrong a few 100 times and he should change... Saddam Husain though... that guy is "messed in the head". I'd just leave class, if he talked about Saddam Husain. I'm glad my technology person is knowledgeable, and doesn't mind any technology in his class but cellphones. Your not the only person though, I've had a teacher that talked about Poets in Science.

I think the topics discussed were appropriate, then again I wasnt there so maybe I'm looking for more than what's actually there

evolution: in the 21st century we will further augment ourselves maybe writing our own evolutuionary process

saddam hussein: he's the product of war in the 21st century where the media justifies a war with little to no evidence. The media now plays a bigger role in war than ever before

group phychology: pretty important as the nuclear family is slowly being replaced by group families ..or rather an extended circle of people ever more involved in the raising of children

sometimes you have to read between the lines to see the point ...give the instructor a chance, you may learn something

Or you may learn nothing at all. Like my Science Technology class which, infact, has *nothing* to do with technology at all. We mainly research biotechnology, but we don't actually do anything. We look in our books and answer the questions 1-5 and then sleep the rest of class.

I hate classes like these, especially when the teacher is just there for a couple bucks.

nah the teacher isnt there for a "couple of bucks" ...if that were true he wouldnt be a teacher ..garbage truck drivers make more $ than teachers ...no that's just an example of a teacher who's stopped trying/caring

I meant a couple bucks literally.

Edit - I meant those teachers...ok it's really just male teachers. I can't stand 99% of them. They're there because they think they can make an impression, or fill up that empty space in their lonely heart, and really stray from teaching anything useful at all.

The following is true.

Tech Teacher guy "This is a CPU." *Points to P.C. tower.
