So I don't get spoilerized, I thought I'd start up a new topic for us Brits, who just got the latest season.

Okay, first impressions: effing wow! The train explosion, the end of the 2nd episode. Brilliant. It's nice to see some fresh faces, especially a head of CTU who has no redeeming qualities what so ever. Seriously, she's such a bitch. Mason may have stupid beauracratic protocols, but at least he had a great sense of humour.

Now, Jack. Woah. Suddenly, he cares even less. Shooting that bugger in the balls was as equally psychotic as cutting a civilian (albeit, a child molesting one) into pieces with a hack saw, but this time, he was actually going to jail. Did Jack care? Heck naw.

Discuss this and any future episodes here, but keep in pace with Sky:One please! No FOX or other network spoilers, thanks.
 
It's a refreshing change of pace now that Jack works as a renegade out of CTU instead of in it now. This series has also cut into the action much, much more quickly which I think is a good thing -

shocking to see how the new head of field ops died so quickly, I thought he may have been in it for at least half the series onwards.

Oh, and I think Jack shot him in the kneecap or thigh, not the balls. I might be wrong, though.
 
He didnt shoot the arab in the balls. But yeah.. whatever gets the job done I guess.

Episodes 3 - 6 are great, but 6 is a bit of an anti-climax...
 
I feel ashamed - we don't have Sky in my grubby student flat, so we walked up to my old halls to watch it. Still - very cool first two episodes. God I love 24.
It's a shame Kim's not in it, but that's fine - she'll be in my mind :naughty:
 
I've never seen an episode of 24 in my life. I allways miss it. One day, somewhere..sometime, I will see it.
 
Ritz, there's more than a passing chance you're dead inside. Sorry. Buy a box-set of Season 2 or 1 (3's not quite as good - but still very good) and understand all the fuss.
 
24 is playing right on American TV. Oooooo...gives me the chills. :D
 
I watched quite a bit of the second season, and it seemed really cool, but... idunno, I can never commit to these things. I'm hoping that'll change with Lost, I've heard very good things about it.
 
I was into the second season, but the third put me right off; I got sick of the writers constantly trying to find ways to write Kim into the script. Yahh. I liked Nina better. Shame they killed her off, but I guess it would have been too much to keep her around any longer. Doubt I'll tune into the fourth series when it eventually shows here.
 
24 is amazin i love it, i watched both new episodes on sunday night :D.

its on later!, episode 3 . lol were so far behind america :(.

i hope david palmer is in the later episodes. anyone?
