25000 points already!

Yeah, hopefully something will be done about him and the other exploiters. It's fairly obvious to see who's doing it.

What are they actually doing to get so many points in a round?

my BF2 copy will be here tomarrow Im gonna own you all!!!!!!!

Three guys, two on the same team: one of them kills his friend on the opposing team while the third guy keeps reviving him. :(

There are two videos by the warchild clan showing this.

Haha, how boring would that be to do? What an utter waste of time! Similar to what i heard about support- one guy keeps chucking grenades, support refills over and over.

How did they ever get that server to become a ranked one?

They should be banned. Can't say killed :/

On the bright side, we found a way to get to the highest ranks in Battlefield 2:afro:, albeit a cheap way.

They should seriously be reported and banned. People who spent most of their life last week doing that have no place in Battlefield 2 online.

Hehe. On a side note.

I like to find out who the really horrible drivers are in the server i'm in, then go and follow them around. Tank fight starts, everybody, as usuall, crowds around the tank and starts shooting, tank guy starts getting shot and reverses into a crowd of people. I run over and revive the ones who weren't killed by the hit, then go running back to my rock hideout. Guy tries to turn left, SQUISH. I run from my rock and revive the un-dead, run back to rock.

POINTS F()4 M3H.

haha, yeah, and the people that jump of buildings without parachutes, hang around them, and you'll get revive points up the wazoo.
Actually, one of the best rounds ive had was when i was on the underdog team (other side teamstacked) and we were holding up in one last building and shooting out the windows, snipers had us pinned down and i was the only medic :). I got plenty of kills, but most of the points were reviving my teammates.

Haha. I noticed that snipers tend to die ALLOT.

I love shooting them in the back. Even when they're running because they can't fight back. M4 against 92FS? I bet a lot of my kills were killing relatively defenseless people like Snipers and flag campers.

Special Ops Rules!!!

I just discovered the wonders of spec ops today.

Some guy came into our base and stole a attack chopper, so before his rotor span up, I ran over and dropped a c4 on his tail rotor. Watched him fly around a bit before KABOOM!

And you can't believe how insanely fun car-bombs are!

Even better to have a teammate c4 your car and you drive into the enemy, die...they load up and BOOM!

Also works with black hawks...land in an enemy base, jump out and watch as the idiots load up.

ROFL, that's halarious, hadnt thought of that Glirk, you're a genius mate!

I find medics a better fighting class than spec-ops. We can heal ourself. We're done for when a tank or APC rolls in but we're better for infantry I think.

Well, I find being a medic better overall (they're more well rounded) but specops are better for fighting. Some map you just can't win as a medic, as in, some maps are better for medics (more healing and reviving goes on, like Daqing Oil Fields and Strike at Karkand) while others are impossible to succeed while being a medic (Fushe Pass).

Medics can function as snipers and as CQB fighers, once you get your unlock. Although Spec ops are still better for CQB by far.

When I want to be more competetive, I play as a medic (99 percent of the time) when I want to have more fun, or just screw around and experiment (the c4 to vehicle combinations are endless!) I go spec ops.

Another thing that could be done as a Spec-Op is that you can load c4 into the MEC transport helo (two to blow it up, and one to kill everybody inside) and either wait for it to take off or blow it when people are getting in.

That was always fun to do, and you could even get alot of kills.

I'm just curious, what do you mean by "were" and "was"?

Oh and welcome to the forums!

"was" because i use to do it alot and "were" was a typo. i guess.

another neat tactic, when possible, is to try and hurl a nade INTO the back of a jeep/MEC thing. it kills the occupants, and if your lucky the vehicle is still driveable. I managed to do this as a MEC against a blackhawk. the nade landed in the cockpit area.

Killing a jeep full of people racks up the kills easily, and you dont have to be a SpeOp to do it.

you'll never be able to stop the people who would rather cheat to achieve rank than do so by their own skill

seems like the developers sort fell into this problem when they decided to make ranks based on performance ...someone will always try to gain advantage

I guess the really steep requirements for unlocking the weapons sort of combats this but eventually they'll find a way

yeah they cheats. a week ago ryan was on top with 9780 points. Within 12 hours his score moved up by 3600 points. WTF!

I can get 300 points in one day. This is foookd up :frown:

If I really went at it I could make 100+ points an hour.

(and im guessing most of those guys play a shit load, only a few are legit though. :\)

I know |LAB|MonkeyMagic and C3 elmo are legit, play in their servers all the time, they're just really really good. (They're in that top 20-30 i think)

Would it get rid of this problem if for ranked servers to actually rank the player, the server needs to have atleast 10 people in it for a 16player server and half full for 32player and 64player servers.

Lol, you would get a Sabot to the chest if you pulled that stunt with me :frown:. I don't like enemies getting points at my expense of running someone down.

I mean somebody on my team is a horrible tank driver. You know how when tank fights break out, everybody hides behind the tank on their team and throws every single grenade they have at it, then unloads all their ammo?

Now that I think of it, that's a great scenario for a Support unit also.

That's definitely stat hacking. He doesn't even have most played categories except for the one map he played.

Oh and sinkoman, Medic and Sp Ops are best classes ever! I tried Medic yesterday, and I got 22 points in one round for reviving guys. But I still prefer Sp Ops because then you're not defenseless against a tank/apc/AA. And it's safer to camp.

and i found my 228 points pretty damn good for bad lag servers, not bad imo :P could be better tho, i am trying to get more medals but I need a list with the requirements

most i've gotten one go around is 66, but i do play as sniper. it's true a lot of snipers are easy, and many are very predictable. I shot one in the back earlier today, when i was almost on top of his base, i knew he would spawn there so i just waited for the guy who immediatly went prone (bad idea), he died 5 times before he finally got a shot off. You need patience, don't take every shot you get because youll make the whole base suspicious.

it seems that getting a knife badge is nearly impossible to do without doing the medic thing. its hard to get like 20 kills with a knife in 1 round!
