It has been announced several times by hotmail in fact, that they would be upping the limit.

250MB is quite a nice number. I also have gmail, but frankly it makes no difference to me. I just don't need the space, its simply a matter of convenience.

Interesting how nearly 16000 words is only a little over one and a half megabytes

I'd have been happy with just 3 megs, considering the horribly low attatchment sizes Hotmail's been through in the past...

For some reason, Hotmail is VERY SLOWLY upgrading people.

Reminds me of the good old days when Hotmail wasn't really bad.. Bet it doesn't last though, probably start charging people to keep 250mb eventually.

Why not use your gmail address as your msn contact name/e-mail?

I know I didn't when I registered a hotmail addy. Hotmail/MS doesn't exactly advertise the fact.

Mine's still 2MB btw. I read about the upgrading thing months ago. Not that I use it for anything but short messages to people when they're not online on msn.

I didnt know you could do that... fantastic. I've always wondered how them MSN contacts had other emails on there.

And with the extra space, now it'll be only two days before your account fills up with spoofed email virus spam.
