2Fort Rocketjump out of water..

Does anyone have any instructions or video on rocketjumping out of the water in 2fort?

I saw a solider do it tonight in a scrim. I did it successfully from the edge of the bridge/border once but died a lot also.

Looking for some info on this

a high rocket jump doesnt do you anything if you're in water.. i can climb skyscraper all day but that isnt helping me get out of the water in 2fort

The water will degrade all the force from the rocket blast into nowt.

I think you duck and jump at the same time and a millisecond later you shoot the rocket.

I'm ducking ever-so-slightly (very quickly) right before I jump+fire.

and its awesome, the Soldier is my most used class and this comes in real handy.

I still can't do the rocket jump, sometimes I'll do it but most of the time I don't. I'm much better at demomam, I have almost complete control on where I go.
