2K Boston changes name back to Irrational

2K Boston? Fughedaboutit. The studio formerly known as Irrational Games is now once again Irrational Games.

Game Informer reports that the studio discovered that its original name carried weight with people, registered on some weird level. So, with new (old) logo and Web site in tow, the studio is now set to do something with that knowledge that benefits fans.

We should note that the February issue of Game Informer will have an article that explores the history of Irrational Games -- something we’re sure all of you System Shock 2 zealots should be able to get behind.

Also a countdown to a possible new game reveal...my money is on X-Com.

I don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure the team behind the Godfather games got shutdown. I may be thinking of someone else though.

Freedom force didn't have any accentuated significance compared to any other of Irrational Games titles. I was only using horrible as a degree of measure.
