look good guys?

That looks all right. But just letting you know, My computer will be better than yours.

Get a 3.2 Clawhammer (1024kb Cache), not a 3.2 Newcastle (512kb Cache).

And California's bigger than Texas. Frank the tank buy some more ram. Upgrade to 1 gig.

i already got 768, dan is goign to either sell me his old stick or give it to me, thus giving me a gig

*bump*

i now know that if i do sell it ill get 200 dollars from it...so i might save get the 64 3200..and get a mobo for x-mas...is this a good idea

First, Socket 754 (clawhammer) CPUs will not work in Socket 939 boards.
Second, do you plan to OC at all?
Third, what is your memory situation? 2 512MB PC3200? 1 512MB 1 256MB?
Fourth, I need to get a Coke.

ok break some myth

3200+ clawhammer - 1mb Cache, yes, alot of speed inc over 3200+ 939, NO
3200+ 939 90nm - 512kb Cache, maybe smaller, but the speed decrase of the clawhammer is unnoticeable...

not to mention 939 is the new base for all A64 CPU's so you can upgrade later, instead of being stuck with a dead end socket like 754

1st... i know that :P
2nd most likely
3rd 1 512, and 1 256 (whats important about this
4th im thirsty too :)

so most likely i will be getting (hopefully) the 3200 w/ the winchester core and a new mother board for xmas..

Well, if you have 1 512MB and 1 256MB it will not run in dual channel memory. And if you want to OC them Winchester is the core you would want. Of course you would know this, right?

You said you will be getting 1 GB total sooner or later so all should be well.

would that then run in dual channel ---1 512 and 2 256? and what are the advantages of dual channel neway
