US, May 6, 2010 - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick stated on the company's financial call earlier today that 35 employees have left Infinity Ward since founders Jason West and Vince Zampella were fired last March. Kotick said he expects even more employees to eventually leave.

"Since we terminated the two executives at Infinity Ward, approximately 35 others have resigned, and it is likely a few more people will leave as well," he said. "Many of these people have been recruited by other studios because of how talented they are."

It really is incredible how terrible Activison are, it was pretty obvious that most of the employees would quit and move back to work with west and zampella.

Its cool seeing official reports of it happening.

What exactly did those 2 guys do to get fired? Its never mentioned...

'Breach of conduct' or some really generic bullshit.

Kotick used "friendship" to describe his business relationship with West and Zampella in a press release. I shuddered.

So did these guys resign out of loyalty to the two that got fired, or because of bad working conditions?

Some went and followed the two guys (and they're all working at their new studio called Respawn) and the rest just quit because they werent being paid what they were due and other working condition issues.

Almost all of them are suing Activision for unpaid Royalties, and even some people still working there are part of the lawsuit because they still havent been paid either.

"The decision to terminate the two Infinity Ward executives was not done lightly, and it was not done to deprive them of their bonuses nor is it done without a great deal of deliberation about the consequences."
If depriving them of their bonuses wasn't the intent, the why not just pay them and prevent this whole thing from happening?

Jesus, this whole thing is so ****ing transparent it's pathetic.
