I am having a problem where my entire map is being duplicated as a sky box. So I have my modles in the sky box being increased along with a huge version of my map off to the side. The entire skybox and level are in a hollow cube wrapped in the skybox texture, how is it that it would leak? Is there a issue with size where a sky box is too big? and yes, I only have one sky_camera in the map in the sky box.

You might have your sky_camera in the wrong spot.

Maybe you're using one of the individual sky textures instead of tools/toolsskybox.

I have the correct tool_sky box texture, however is there a EXACT position the sky camera has to be?

Within the 3D skybox is always preferable. But the skybox and the map should be separate from each other, not connected by a hollow box...

im having the same exact problem... i posted here about a year ago and i still haven't found a solution. they are separted and the sky_camera is in the skybox where the 0,0,0 would be in the map. the blue toolsskybox texture is applied to the outer walls of the map and applied to all the sides of the hollow box around the 3dskybox which is a 1/16 scale box. does the heigth of teh skybox matter? and you should be using the same toolsskybox texture in the skybox and the map right?

Ive been trying to figure this one out of a looong time now... any help appreciated

assuming you mean that your actual map is being projected by the sky camera, causing you to see your map in the distance as well as your 3d skybox - move your 3d skybox upwards in the z direction. im thinking your 3d skybox may either be too close to your map or the sky camera just cant help but find it necessary to project your map in the distance. also, make sure you only got 1 sky camera in your map. maybe you got two sky cameras overlapping eachother or something?
