3D skybox... not usual question :S

I've started to learn hammer just now (I did some levels in HL but it was long time ago) and I tried to create a sky box but the result is not very good... I get some sort of a square outline in my sky... am I doing something wrong? And I also couldn't find the way to change the actual sky map... its always set to default and I dont know how to change it :S

set texture detail to highest in the game settings.

Yay! hehe so simple! thank you. All I need not is to find out how to change the actual map of the sky (texture)
