Ok, i have searched about some plugin to export the model into a *.smd file, but i found nothing so maybe you can help me.

One import caveat though - if you intend to just modify existing models, or use the existing HL2 animations, the SMD importer appends a "0" to the name of each bone. So be prepared to rename them all :)

You have to wonder who it was a discreet that decided every bone must have a 0 at the end when created through the max SDK. I tried creating them and renaming them and it still adds a zero back in.
