Is it possible to do a MOD in 3rd person view?

More than possible.
In face, type "thirdperson 1" in halflife 2 and you'll probably get a thirdperson angle (if sv_cheats is 1)
(all in the console of course)

yeah if you want it to be gordon you would have to remodel it and change weapon position cuz right now the gun sticks out your butt rofl

everything from that link is already in the code but its still not working from start

This reminds me of something I wanted to see done for hl2 and maybe counter strike source. I was wondering if its possible to implement a third person camera that functions similar too or even the same as the third person camera found in Gears of war or resident evil 4. I noticed that when you enable thirdperson your character is stuck in the middle of the screen.
