4 page interview with PPU people

Few interesting things. First, they show an image of the PPU board, well a development board at least :cheers:

As you can see, it supports PCI-E 16x (the long end) and then if you flip the board over, it also does PCI-E 1x (the short nub)

I hope they make it smaller, but hey increasing physics objects by over 100 fold, I guess I could take it's large size.

Anyways the interview is a pretty good read He reiterates a bunch of things. He explains whats the difference between a CPU and PPU too

Also, you suppose these PPU's have found their way into next-gen consoles? I think they have at least!

Yeah with the new ATI technology coming this summer (VIDEO ARRAY), I must get a new mobo with at leat 3 pci-e..............2 for ATI's card and one for this beast.

Yup, you definetely gotta upgrade to have PCI-E slots.. With so much data being passed around, you don't want any bottlenecks!
