After playing Oblivion, I find myself being just slightly underwhelmed by this game, but it still looks great nonetheless.

I thought that at first too--and that was right after I got off a major Oblivion kick. Now I can look at it as a different sort of game, one that doesn't compete with Oblivion in terms of what it offers, but rather as a game that stands out on its own as an fantasy action RPG set in the M&M world with a really great engine! It has totally different goals than Oblivion and as such will be a very different experience and it looks like total fun. I just hope its not too linear....
