None of those were 4chan humor. Or any kind of humor, for that matter. In fact I think you might have discovered the anti-humor. Not even Kenshiro's hokuto no ken can stop the anti-humor.

None were. The only one you could remotely call 4chan humor was Xenon, and that's only because it's Xenon. It's not actually 4chan humor. Don't argue with me here, I don't want to have to tell you off and then Vegeta comes in like, "DARKSIDE STOP TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU KNOW ABOUT 4CHAN" and then another chair war breaks out. The last one was barely contained and another one would spill out into other threads, consuming and ultimately destroying the HL2.net forums.

Please stop, none of them were funny. You have failed. Accept your loss and move on. No one will fault you for it.
 
As much as I like you as a member here, Xenon is clearly 4chan humor. The others (with the possible exception of the UFO one) are most nearly defined as YTP (which if you noticed I also put in the thread's title). I mean, are you just completely ignoring the type of videos posted in /f/? If you think 4chan's humor is based exclusively off the memes it generates then you're completely and utterly wrong. Also, you clearly didn't take heed of what was said in the original post. I'm sure you've heard this many times, but if you don't like a thread's contents you're best off ignoring it. Oh wait, that's not how it goes on the internets. No, those threads must have every member's 2 cents inserted into them. I still like you, but it's not as gay as it was before.

Good point, but on occasion they have some real gems. Loop repost is actual quality though.

I was not serious with regard to liking you less than before simply because of what you said. I actually said it because normally a response like yours I wouldn't even bother responding to in any serious manner had you been someone else. So it means the complete opposite of what you said. That is that I actually ****ing care to some degree what you say. Not to be down on myself, but I realize no one really cares what I say because I'm a nobody here (post count + general suckiness).

Duly noted. You have to understand too I'm rather tetchy about threads that even say, "4chan," or "Anonymous," or things like that. You'd think I wouldn't be any more, but it's one of those diehard habits. I see "4chan" and I start frothing at the mouth, a V mask materializes over my face, and I come in the thread like "ARGRHABRABLAAAAAARGH!"

Firstly, you're not your postcount. Nobody is ever their postcount. What you say, whether you've got ten posts or ten thousand, is carried by its own weight. I mean, we're in a thread about 4chan, take a look at anonymous. Anonymous doesn't give a shit about your name or your postcount or general dickwavery (most of the time, unless we're actually having a dick waving competition). The same should apply to a forum. So first off, you aren't a nobody, especially because of postcount. Don't be so down on yourself. You're making me have to sound like an inspirational speaker here. :p

And secondly, I see where you're coming from. I'm used to those, "I like you less now" kinds of comments as being negative. I was telling someone else...I can't remember exactly who it was but someone said something similar to me and I was saying that messages like that always strike me as sounding like, "Because of your opinion I feel such-and-such way about you," as if that would sway my opinion. That might not be what you meant at all but that's always how that's come off to me.

But naw, don't be down on yourself, you're not a nobody. Your opinion is valuable postcount be damned. I like you anyway. And I'm going to stop now because this is going from "inspirational speaker" to "mildly suggestive." This IS a 4chan thread though, so...

I never created this thread to discuss 4chan. Sure it was in the title, but this is the "Videos, Images, Flash Dump," not "The Lounge." Everyone wants to get their say in on 4chan, whether they try to play themselves off as being objective or not (you).
