Yep. Here's an excerpt from an IGN interview about the uhh... story.

...what's inspired the title is, 50 and G-Unit are putting on a sold-out performance somewhere in a fictional Middle Eastern setting. This is where the 'blood on the sand' comes in. They put on the performance; the people are pleased, but the concert promoter stiffs them and doesn't give 50 and G-Unit their payment.

So, of course, 50 isn't going to leave until he gets paid, so he hassles the concert promoter, [saying] if he doesn't come up with the money now, there will be consequences. And instead, the promoter offers him a very valuable gift - something that's valuable to this particular country - a diamond encrusted skull.

So 50 gets the skull, and as he's about to leave this war-torn country, when they're ambushed and the skull is taken. They escape the ambush, but they're without the skull. So 50's motivated to get what belongs to him. So basically, throughout the game, he's trying to track these people down and find out who they are and why he was ambushed.

Hmm. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Can I get a /facepalm?

What were the writers thinking?

"Oh man... GOTY, here we come!"

50 Cent - how much this game will be going for in the bargain bins 4 months from now :)

Indiana cent or 50 Jones? I guess that's the beauty of this game, each one decides what kind of 50 he wants to be

there's sure to be plenty of ebonics, count me in

"dont worry son the only time you'll hear that will be if you're in the wrong neighbourhood or if you allow the defendant to address you in court"

I wouldn't be surprised if 50 Cent was the lead writer for this game.

I can't even bring myself to make fun. If I could sell my name to corporate game studio #2389023 and make millions off of gullible idiots I'd wake up laughing every morning, as I'm sure Mr. Cent does. Same concept as Girls Gone Wild or Halo, it's nothing new at all - it's just all wrapped up in some ridiculous culture that has a huge emphasis on capitalism. Sign me up, imo.

If this is as awesomely terrible as it sounds I might have to Gamefly it. :D

/facepalm

I'm sure 50 cent ****ing wrote this piece of ****

Who is the moron who gave this the greenlight??? After looking at how well (read: poorly) the first one was received you would think that passing on this one would be a no-brainer. Geez....

o rly? Morons who love money, apparently.

Failed critically, not fiscally. Again, Curtis Jackson wakes up laughing, I'm sure. Sales have nothing to do with the quality of a game, the amount of 'gamers' who actually pay attention to gaming media and publication is probably something like .05%

Fitty gon' get dat sheeit bak niggga!

This is quite possibly the number one worst storyline for a video game based on the leading character.

It's like a spin off of a horrible series to an even worse series except in this case it is all in the family. It's like, Gordon Freeman Epilogues: Cake or Pie.

I wonder how many bullet holes you can have before you die.

Health bar must be long, to make the game realistic.

Fucking sweet, I loved the first one.

sarcasmftw

Somehow this almost seems as stupid a spin off as shaq fu

Yo, yall didnt like da first one, I thought that was shit yo

(read:that was shit)
Just another advertisment with none-copyrighted guns, meaning that they are so overpowered, the micro-smg's are just as accurate as the sniper rifles.

/facepalm

le sigh

Fun fact: this text could be substituted as criticism of Fiddy's musical efforts and still be accurate.

Everybody's so quick to dismiss the game without even playing it...

:cheese:

I'm actually interested in this...looks like it'll be one of those "So bad it's good" games.

50 Cent games and Air Bud movies are the things that make me weep.

I'm not sure what's worse, his games or his clothing line...

I open Firefox and the forums are all bright and retarded.

I come to this thread to see a very familiar tag...

...Hmm.

LOL @ anybody who even cares about this crappy sequel. Or the first one for that matter. :/
