$50 price range sound card comparison: which to get?

looking for a good $50 dollar area sound card. which is better:

turtle beach "santa cruz"
or
sound blaster audigy ES PCI

keep in mind. as of now i only have klipsch promedia 2.1 speakers and do not see being able to upgrading to 5.1+ in the forseeable future.

Depends what's important.
The Santa Cruz has better sound quality, especially for music.
The Audigy will give better 3D positioning in Games for 5.1 speakers and slightly better performance.

A number of people don't care for Creative's drivers...so it's a toss up for what you want. Of course you are going to be limited to how good your speakers are but Klipsch speakers are great.
Personally I'd pick the Santa Cruz since I had one and loved it.

I should hope so. I'm using my motherboard's onboard sound hardware. I had a sb live value 5.1 on my previous comp and had no complaints. so I don't think I'd be disappointed with them.
