i heard somewhere that next gen cards should be out second half of this year... i think. Im pretty sure there is a 512mb version of the 6800 coming out soon though.

you can already order the 512mb, 6800, weve ordered one with in a new alienware laptop.

im not entirely sure when we are getting it though, but the card is listed.

wow and 128 mb cards will still be pretty good for awhile, so i dont think ill make that big of a jump and time soon

Meh, since when did any games coming out in the future actually need 512MB? And don't say D3; ultra-high quality just used uncompressed textures, which barely improved image quality at all. It would have been far better for ID to pack more resolution into compressed textures and used that for UHQ mode.

Agreed, 512 is not needed. I'd be happy with 128MB to be honest, I really wouldn't care if I'm not running my game smooth on ultra quality because I'm happy with medium quality.
