9/11 Fake?

Perhaps It ain't the best title, but can't think of anything else.
I recently found a long article that proves 9/11 was caused by the goverment, maybe I am gullable, but discuss. Long read, interesting though.

What if what we were told of 9/11 was a total lie? What if what we saw with our eyes on television that black Tuesday was a carefully planned illusion? Maybe the world was being deceived and purposely moved in a certain direction for the evil purpose of planting the seeds of WAR?

Relatively few people in the general public knew at the time of John Kennedy’s assassination that there was a large conspiracy surrounding the death of this beloved president. Back then, who questioned the idea of the lone gunman? It took decades for people to finally come around and understand that a large conspiracy was involved.

Like I have said many times before. If the government was in fact able to pull off such a massive operation then why didn't WMD's get discovered in Iraq, why havn't there been more terrorist attacks on US soil to gain support back for Bush, why hasn't the rest of the western world suffered any more than two major terrorist attacks in the last few years to gain outside support.

Also most people describe the current administration as incompetent. I mean look at how they have foiled up the economy and Iraq are the usual arguments. Yet at the same time we get people claiming they were capable of pulling off what would be one of the most massive secret operations in human history. So what are they? Incompetent or exceedingly competent?

Just thought of it... Fertilizer bombs don't give off a gas, and aren't posionious after explosion. Use them over at the mines here all the time.

I only posted stuff like this because it makes for a fun debate that clearly gets peoples nuts in a tangle even on a forum, which is pretty funny stuff on its own. Its interesting subject matter whatever you believe, besides I dont really believe anything . But you cant help but notice that 66% of newyorker's wanted the investigation reopened in a general poll and tonnes of people havnt had any clear answer's to some difficult question's accompanied by any solid proof as to the why, who and hows.. and that is exactley why the unofficial conspiracey theories have gained such impetus.

I'm a bit in limbo when it comes to 9/11. I mean, indeed, who would kill thousands of people just to attack Afghanisthan?

But on the other hand, it's the sometimes odd circumstances, like that airplane that flew into the Pentagon. The official report states it flew 2 metres above the ground and over the highway, but no light poles were cut in half. Or the scientific research that showed that the fuel combined with all the rubbish wouldn't be hot enough to melt steel.

But I'm not up-to-date in all this, so you guys fill me in
