Hey guys,
I've had a 9800 Non Pro since September 2003, and ever since then its performance has been pretty poor. It was crashing on games, wasn't letting me run the games at the correct detail levels and it was an all round poor card.

Last week I flashed its BIOS from a 9800 np to a 9800 Pro. It now works beautifully. Not had a single crash with it, no artifacts and it's all-round performance is better.

I wanna stretch it a bit further and flash it again to XT speeds. It's possible and I should be able to do it successfully. May need a little underclocking afterwards, but overall I've heard successful stories in doing it.

Thing is, when I flashed from NP to P there was a specific set of instructions on doing it for a Sapphire Radeon 9800 Atlantis 128MB. Now I'm relying on a more general guide:

http://www.driverheaven.net/bios/

The BIOSs in the archive there are for ATI manufactured cards, GigaCube, Hercules and Powercolor. I'm assuming these won't work properly as I have a Sapphire card, so where do I get the Sapphire BIOS from? I've found a BIOS file here: http://downloads.rojakpot.com/details.php?file=28 but it mentions Hynix and I have Samsung.

Any ideas?

i believe that it won't work b/c of different cores
and the XT has 256RAM, so it might cause some RAM problem
just OC to XT speed
EDIT: accoring to Dhaven it works, with that amount of ram and core
