I have no idea why I cannot install any 9800 Pro drivers (either from the catalyst CD or a driver pack download from ATI). Whenever I try to install them, I get this error message- "Try to set up your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup." But then, my computer gives me an error in the Found New Hardware Wizard window saying that there was a problem in installing the Video Controller (VGA Complatible). So, this is where I get stuck. It seems that I don't any any kind of basic VGA driver installed that my computer recognizes in order to install the ATI drivers. I don't know much about computers so yea, I'm desparate. Thanks.
Wndows XP Home
Athlon 2100+

Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
P.S. I included a pic of the error. I've tried other potentially helpful forums such as driverheaven.com, only to be disappointed by the constant return of the stupid error message. I hope somebody here can finally put an end to this. I really wanna start using my 9800 pro!
