9800Pro - What brand ?

Hey ...
Iam planning to get a 9800Pro very soon and Iam not sure which brand to get . These are the brands I have narrowed it down to, HIS Excalibur 9800Pro (not iceQ), MSI 9800Pro, Gigabyte 9800Pro, these are all 128MB 256bit. So far HIS is the cheapest $1580 HKD, and both the other 2 is around $1700 HKD.

HIS is a good brand, I'd go for that one. But if you can get a Sapphire, they're the best.

yeah, if you wanna go with ATI, but dude, 9800pro's cost around $225.
for $200, if you wait a month, you can get the 6600GT, which is a MUCH better card. go figuire.

hey anyone know if x700 will come out in AGP?

Yeah I would also suggest the 6600GT but I wasn't sure how the prices would be where you are.

In the US the 9800 pro is $200, so is the 6600GT. So they should be the same. Gotta wait about a month for the AGP 6600GT though. But well worth the wait.

No they won't be lowering them any more. Soon they'll stop making them probably then the prices will go up a little.

Well the prices shouldn't get any lower than they are now, I dunno about an AGP X700 but I doubt they'll keep making the 9800 pro's for much longer.
