Of course the 9600XT is DX9, its a supped up 9600 Pro.

Anyway, it is as expected. Its faster. Its quite a bit faster sometimes. But both cards (9800Pro/XT, not FX ) are so fast its not worth it if one got a 9800 Pro. And an overclocked 9800Pro obviously produce near same results, so one could easily get an XT for free, just need better cooling (for those speed, I guess something like just another fan blowing over the card will do, possibly some cheap ramsinks).
