I remember hearing awhile ago a rumor that if your A+ Certified that you can somehow get Whole Sale hardware? Maybe they meant if you tell the company that your a reseller or something. Not sure, but I'd like this confirmed since I'll be getting my A+ soon (along with Net+, MCSA, Linux+, and Security+).

Whats an A+, is a type of computing qualification? what can you do with one?

It is an A+ certification, meaning you passed the hardware and the software test. It is pretty much just computer knowledge, and troubleshooting, you need it to repair computers.

You don't need it to Repair computers...but it can help if you have no previous experience.

I don't have one...thinking of acquiring it though to pump out my CV.

But I do have 15 years experience in building, repairing and diagnostics with computers which has helped me more than an A+ qualification upto now..anyways!

Even the techs at PC world (and I use the term "techs" loosely, when talking about the monkeys that work there), don't need that qualification to get jobs there...they can acquire it once they have the job.
