a compatibility question

ok im sick of my Geforce4, it wont run anything abuve Dx7 on HL2, so for christmas im eather gona get a 9800 pro or a x800, (im tryen to be nice to my parents so i think ill get it on ebay) my quesetin is that i have a PCI slot, but all the X800's eather have PCI express or AGP, can i get the PCI express to go into my PCI? also do you think the X800 is worth it? i have a feeling it isnt hehehehe

You would have to buy a new motherboard if you want to use PCI-E.
The X800 is worth it ten times over. If you can, go for the X800 XT or X800 PRO. Those are the best.

if you dont have an agp slot or pci-e you cant get either of those cards
