A couple questions for you modding pro's

Hope you can help me.

1. I have done some work moddelling in 3ds max and would certainly like to know a way to extract and inject models into half-life 2. I don't any of the multiplayer thingy's. (I'm still a little confused by it all, I purchased half-life 2 through steam, but it has no multiplyer, I guess these have to be purchased seperatly?)

2. Same as above with bitmaps.

What are you talking about? Half Life 2 Deathmatch has been released a few weeks ago, and doesn't require purchase. The SDK, and tools for exporting are in the Source SDK game/program in Steam, you can download it from the Steam client directly..

You just need an .smd exporter for MAX..
Which you can find on google.
Then you can make models for HL2\CSS\whatever.

Where do you get all the extra stuff you have in your list.
Even that "third party games" stuff that i've never seen before

i have collectors edition and thought i had everyhting.
but i did not get CS, TFC, CZ, CZDC, DOD, DC, OF, R.

I am most interested in "Ricochet" because i have never heard of it before. If it is all in a steam package what ones can i get in shops?

you can get all the old stuff with an Half Life 1 Serial.

Third Partie Games are mods, for example Sven Coop.

And believe me, Ricochet is %#§%"! its not worth playing

u get everything with the silver or gold version, or if you register your hl1 key. All those games r hl1 so it dosent matter. Third party is a mod, but i pixelated it

So if i go out and buy HL1 will i get all those things or what ones wont i get and how do i get them?

Why dont you get blue shift and what other ones are SP?

cuz blue shift aint owned by valve.
lisen, when u buy hl2 u buy a specific package (this is if you get it online). I got the silver. IT comes with the back catalogue (all the old games) valve has. If u buy hl2 in stores u only get hl2 and cs source. you get the source sdk if you own any hl2 package. why do you want all that old bullshit anyways, its all on the hl1 engine and you said you are working with the hl2 engine. All you need is hl2, counter strike source, hl2dm and source sdk, which you get with any hl2 package. All that other garbage is hl1, which you can get by registering 1 half life key, except condition zero, you gotta buy that too.

i told u what the third party game is. Its a mod, if you don't know what a mod is, you shouldn't be here. I pixelated it because its not public yet.
