a couple quick q's

A couple of quick questions:

Can I use Serial ATA hard drives and IDE hard drives in conjunction with each other? Or does the system need to be only one way or the other?

AND

If I want a dual monitor setup, can I just get a cheapy pci video card to hook the second monitor up to?

1. Yes.
2. Why don't you simply hook both monitors up to one card? IIRC, simply add an extension or port of some sort, but don't quote me as I am not 100% sure on this.

like what do u want to have to monitors with the same desktop or kind of do halfie screens

If you just want to use dual monitors for your desktop then you can just add another PCI graphics card. I'd recommend getting one the same brand as the card you have now so you have more than just the basic resolution/color/hertz adjustments.
