Haha, funny video. But the guy doing the "stunt" doesn't do a very good job of acting like it's the real deal. And then I watched it again and you can see the block that he uses to jump on top of rather than really jumping on a car.

I'm a bit confused. Is that supposed to be real footage of him being nailed by the car? If so, what's funny about that? Or is it all a stunt? Cause damn that looks real believable to me. The being hit by the car part. I noticed noone mentioned that part, just the part where he leaps over the car.

Its funny how some people think death to civilians is funny in some circumstances, but not others. I mean, we have all these people opposed to the war in iraq and stuff, who dislike that civilians are killed, yet some of them find it funny when other civilians die in equally tragic accidents. Just seems dumb to me.
This has not to do with this particular thread, just a political pet peeve of mine I wanted to share here(I know you don't care!)

Furthermore the vid is a fake death, but you can't tell me it wouldn't be funny as hell if some guy had staged a fake car jump; only to be hit by a car coming the other way :naughty:

Someone I used to work with tried bus surfing(!) when he was 12...
He managed to jump across from the top of the shelter onto the stopped bus. He then proceeded to hold his balance as it set off.
However when the bus came to end of his street and slammed on its brakes....... this lad flew something like 20feet from a third of the way down the bus, to land on the opposite side of the road. He even managed to get to the kerb...unfortunately for him he only managed to get it with the back of his head! Now that in itself isn't funny, but when you add on the last bit, where 2 cars had to swerve but ran over his legs anyway......now thats funny (even funnier if you knew the guy- honestly I had to ask him why the cars bothered swerving :dozey: )

Yeah for all those people who think it's real I suggest watching it a few more times.
At first glance it all looks real and delivers a good shock, but after watching it again you can notice the block he jumps off of to clear the "car" but then when he gets "hit" by the second car he leans the direction the car is traveling. If he were actually hit by the car he would have leaned to his left (our right) and slammed off of the hood.

I'm with Raziaar. If you think somebodys pain and suffering is funny, then something is wrong with you. You are missing empathy, a key element of humanity that seperates the civilized members of society with the sociopaths.
I dont care who it is. Bottom line is, if you can laugh at others pain, then you do not have the mental strength to understand what it is to be someone other then yourself.
I think thats sad.
This video is fake, though, and in that, a bit shocking at first but nothing is wrong with thinking its silly once the illusion is broken.
