A few questions about Half-Life 2 before I get it.

1) How many guns are there?
2) How long is it? Compared, to Doom III and Far Cry, how long is it?
3) Is Half-Life 2 like Painkiller, graphically, where you can still activate most of the textures to 'high' and still get good framerates as long as you sacrifice the fancy crap such as trilinear and AA and etc...

1) I think 10 or 11.
2) I beat it in 17 hours. Definitely shorter than Far Cry (also easier than FC...) and I'm not sure about its length compared to Doom3
3) YES! In fact, on my GeForce4, I've got 800x600, 4xAA, trilinear filtering (turn this on, it's SOOO much better than bilinear), high textures, medium models, high shadows and high shaders, and I'm getting well above 40 fps. (Ba da ba ba ba,) I'm lovin' it!

1.) not enough, 10.
2.) It's short-ish, maybe 15 hours or so, perhaps 20.
3.) I guess that depends on your rig. I have a Radeon 9800 Pro lots o' memory, and a 3 ghz processor, and mine is smooth as hell, all settings highest.

2) i beat it in maybe 16 hours. shorter then doom and farcry.

its lasting me more than 3 days, so it depends on how u play the game, patiently or rushing...

BUT you can pick up every single object in the game by hand and throw it at an enermy and it/he will die eventually trust me hehehe

u can throw a crate. then when it breaks throw the piece that are left hehe it is so great.

2) well people who play it fast and want to complete it so quick i would say 15-20hours.

me i normally complets games in 1-3days.

but half life2 *due to work as well* i am taking it slow exploring all areas *seen the g-man around 5-6times now on the buggy scene (which is far but at the same time not far which i love because i dont want to complete this game anytime soon ). im exploring all areas it is fantastic

DOOM3 i wanted to complete quick due to some very boring levels towards the end SUCKED some stupid pointless levels (doom3 is shorter then half life2)

farcry again some pointless levels and i completed it in 2days

half life 2 i love every moment and i will play again and again and then make single player levels hehehe.

3) graphics are fantastic trust me BUY THIS GAME! runs so smooth for me.

wierd some glitches (which everyone is getting but only happens very rare and quickly.) happing to everyone but VALVE know! so patch maybe soon
