A few Questions...

Sky boxes, when i compile it can never load, i have a box on the ouside of the room, with the texture on, and i have changed it in my map properties. I am using de_cobbleft. Also, the texture shows up through all my other brushes!

I thought if you added func_ladder to a brush it went transparent, but mine hasnt...

help would be gladly apreciated, thanks! :thumbs:
 
ok, the ladders arnt transparent, you can apply a texture :S

still the skybox thing is annoying, it even does it in game :(
 
actually, the default ladder is transparent. I haven't tried just making a brush and tieing a func_ladder to it, does that work? NEway, you make the func_ladder entity and it shows up as just a box. You can drag it around (it's actually two boxes, a stop and a start point) to get your ladder ends. This is all invisible, the ladder you build in as a visible object has nothing to do with the real ladder.
 
i tried that way first, and it conused me a bit, so i tried func_ladder. It works fine, but i guess it is limited a bit.

Any idea on the skyboxes?
 
Make sure if it's a CS skybox you're playing CS..
what game type are you loading?
