Hey hl2.net, does anyone know where I can find a choral version of Auld Lang Syne? Im making a montage of home movie clips, and I thought that the song would fit nicely with lots of the footage. Sadly, all the versions I can find are pop-modernized. Im just looking for a simple, choral version, something similar to what was heard in Its a Wonderful Life (around the 8 min mark):

or even something like this Andre Rieu version (but with chorus/singers)

Anyone know of an album or an mp3 I can buy? Every version I find on youtube is shite, so I cant use those. I don't mind paying money for something good, but I'm finding it hard to find a version I can reference. Any help?

I was looking for something like this a few years ago.

The only one I can think of is Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin. It's got background singers similar to what you posted for the It's a Wonderful World clip. Also... it's Frank Sinatra!

Google it -- should be really easy to find.

ah thanks. i listened to it, and while it is better than most, its still not quite what im looking for (too drawn out, and to be honest Im not a fan of Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin). If it had just been the chorus and a bit peppier, it would have been perfect. Well, its almost that time of year anyway, Ill go down to the record shop and see if they have any samples i can listen to.
