i was wondering how long it would take ppl to fig this out...

do you see how it looks better than source??? (and yes i did make that map :P and to test out my models)

but ne way, i actualy did port the sky and i am making a new CSS map with it :P

how exactly do i use that sky as ive been trying for awile?

It's very obviously the Unreal 2.0 engine, and it looks like shit.

you put it in your materils folder under counter strike source and sourcesdk

then you put sky_night in your map properties

now onto the real topic...

Top Secret, you are talking shit... i have posted this in sevral forums and EVERY one has said it looks sweet, hawt, vn. etc... untill i said in here that it was unreal now you are acting all smart like you actualy know somthing about it...

also unreal looks better than source, you cant get around that, other than source has normal maps and dudv maps (which you cant evan tell they are using) unreal evan has better physics (using karma math engine). this pict also proves my point, every one thought it was great looking, when in fact i made it about 4 months ago on a 2 year old engine :)

so dont talk about crap u dont know.

Wow, dumb ass. The map looks like shit. The skybox is nice, for sure. But no, the map looks like shit. You have stretched textures all over the place, and you only used ONE TEXTURE LAYER (Minus the rock thing at the bottom). TRY USING THE SMOOTH TOOL DIPSHIT. Don't tell me what I know and don't know. I've mapped for Unreal plenty of times, mostly for Raven Shield. It looks like shit. And if you'll notice about people saying it looks "Sweet, hawt" etc etc, you could say the same with current Half-Life 1 engine maps, people post stuff, and get replies with "That looks sick.", happens all the time.

Don't be a ****ing dumbass, dipshit.

*Edit*

And one more thing, the Karma math engine isn't anywhere close in accuracy, OR efficiency as the Havok engine, or the Havok 2 engine for that matter.

you evil genious finish the map already!
lol...

would u like me to go post this at atari forums???

also, it has 5 texture layers... source can only do 2 and the second one has to be some special texture and is only painted onto a vert...

also, there is no real way to prove which physics engine is better...

the skys the only cool part otherwise your a useless computer person like me that uses microsoft paint for there sprays....(by the way microsoft paint owns photoshop bitch)!

i use photoShop

this is not a playable map, it was used to test my tunnle system

there is an edit button...

Yeah, I love both the unreal graphic engine and the physic engine, especially on cars.

Source looks better than UT2004. The gameplay is what makes it better than UT2004 also. I hated the fast paced gameplay of UT2004. Sure it was fun for a while but then got annoying.
