The tacking on of 'sweet and honourable...' is either a complete betrayal of the 'somebody's father' bit or a horrible implication that if you aren't prepared to get mori for your patria you're somehow not acknowledging the humanity of these soldiers...

Its my favorite also. I had the great pleasure of being introduced to his work as an assignment for one of my high school english classes. I have loved this poem since them.

I plan on making a animated short based on that once I get out of school (and probably start it before, assuming I learn enough.
