hey, i'm making this survey for school, and i need to ask some questions...

topic: who should win the US elections?

1. should bush win? (yes, no)
2. should kerry win? (yes, no)
3. do you think the war will end if bush is reelected (yes, no)
4. do you think the war will end if kerry is elected? (yes, no)
5. do you think the elections will be genuine/legal? (yes, no)

i think the questions sound a bit dumb but they all have to be "yes/no" type questions (no justifying)

If you really think that, please don't vote. At the very least, really learn about Bush and Kerry. Then learn about the amount of impact the President has on the economy. You will change your conclusions.

(Question #4 is a bit too nuanced to have just a yes/no answer.
Under the vague definition of 'terrorism' currently used to justify the War on Terror, the conflict will never end.
However, I am confident that Kerry will do both a better job, and that he will tighten the definition down to a set of targets that are actually manageable.)

I love these forums, but for politics this particular forum seems to side (the majority, I know of exceptions ) mostly liberal.

Don't know why it happened that way . I know of other forums that side just as conservative as this one is liberal, it's strange, but remember that stuff for the survey info

~Reason: Both of them are against gay marriage. I was hoping this topic would be able to outline the future from the past, and give a good color for the direction I wanted my own future to be in. Dont get me wrong, im for Gay Marriage, its just once again both men adapt archaic religious estates in their arguements, to gain a supplementary vote from the Christian Voter. I find no unique(s) existing between any of the candidates, besides this plausible aspect. For older topics however, both of them are for the War on Terrorism, and this much is good for me. Although, Kerry is still for the war in Iraq, as is Bush, which puts me to rest on the topics I was most concerned about. Though, with that, I think Bush will do a better job based on his experience thus far. People can debate WMD's, Attrocities, and other such things later with me. Thus far, no matter how horrible it is, I'd much rather have a man with experience, then no experience at all. ...but its not a complete end cost to me. Both of them were for my prime choices, so therefore, who wins exclusively does'nt end the war, and does'nt loose my support. Period.
3. Do I think the war will end if bush is re-elected? (No, but do we want it too? At around the time of 1997, I remember it was the "in" thing to rebel and protest, and bitch about hippies. Now...everyones a hippy. Puh! Go figure...)
4. Do I think the war will end if Kerries re-elected? No. He'll extend it, and I think much longer then Bush. He'll end up fighting a three front war, dealing with Iraq, the Iran weapons sanctions, and varied small-time operations in Africa. It could be a four front war...we might be going back to vietnam ala North Korea.
5.Do I think the elections will be genuine/legal? Yes. But if Kerry looses of course, everyone will think the election was rigged. Hooray for selfishness!
