Here is my version of the breencast:
I got another letter last night,
"Dear, Dr. Breen I would like to know why the food the Benefactors supply us with is total shit? From, a pissed off citizen. "
Well, your question is a very special question to me pissed off. Your questions is about the quality of life that the Benefactors are allowing us. The Benefactors want the best for us and do not want to see us be in discomfort. However, the fresh food supply is in limited supply right now. But that is only a temporary thing. The earth's farms are still in trouble from the attacks of the Xenian aliens. The headcrabs seem to enjoy eating the watermelon plants and will not let those grow. And when other fruits are grown, the ant-lions come and devour those. The Benefactors are working on working on a way to fix this problem by developing new forms of food and ways to grow it. But now at the momen, we do not have enough fresh food for the entire city. The Benefactors have never dealth with human food, and so it will take them time to understand how to manufacture healthy, good tasting food. If you want to eat some fresh vegetables grown directly in the greenhouse of the Citadel, you can by simply joining the Civil Protection. When you sign up you get many options that a person would be foolish to turn down, free room and board, the suppression field gets turned off at times, recreation time, and you get to live a non stop adventure. So to sign up visit the local trainstation and sign up.
