Right, ive upgraded my Video Card, personally I dont need more ram, so all I need to do now is get a better processor, but I have a crappy pc chips m810 which as far as I know only supports below 200fsb. What I really want is a mobo which supports 266fsb, then ill get a AMD XP 2400.

So...whats the chapest mobo I can get which supports the 2400, preferably from the selection here

Right...the next stage is acctually putting the mobo into my case, what i'm worried about is all the wires going into the led, the PS and everything, is there a site with a tut ?

Dont go cheapest. Go Nforce2 (preferably with the MCP-T chip*). You'll get the fastest Athlon mobo available, built in sound that rivals Audigy 2 (with the addition off near zero CPU usage) and one badass ATI platform :)

*Normal Nforce 2 has the MCP southbridge (or northbridge, cant remember which), you'll want the "ultra" or "deluxe" or "+" version or whatever.

I have a 8RDA+ mobo with a 2400+ and a 9700 Pro, it roxorz in terms of stability and speed. Except for the PSU burnout, hehe...

NOTE: My experience is a bit old, so I dont know if the Nforce 3 is out, dont think so though, or any other revisions of Nforce 2 one should look for.

Dear god no I would only abuse it. I was administrator of the Invasion 1944 board (OFP mod) and people always complained on me... It wasnt MY fault I happened to have 65,000 posts one day :p

anyway...know a site which has tuts for removing a mobo ?, as I said before all the wires to the led and power suply look daunting

That's easy: Take it one cable at a time :)
There is no trick to it, and I'll doubt you'll find a tutorial for it (just a bunch off how to hax the voltage or add 2kg of cooling devices). The new mobo will come with instructions how to connect everything, just go backwards.
The important part: Always ground yourself!!!! (touch the metal plating alot, or use those wristie thingies or whatever). And of course, some of the cables are hooked in the mobo (I know all I have fiddled with has had the main cable from the PSU (the biggest one you can find connected to the mobo)) and can be quite hard to remove. Just be carefull and think before you start trying to pull :)

Yeah. My only thing that I would add to that is if soemthign doesn't give right away, don't keep pulling. look to make sure youre removing if correctly and ten continue.

on a completly diffrent note, i owuln't mind moderating these boards :). But you guys wouldn't want me to.
