Former PM Sharif returns from exile

A new contender for Pakistan it seems. However, I still think Bhutto would win though, because she had enough time to gather greater support and the bombing sort of gave her an "emotional edge" over the people imo..

Former Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif returned from exile in Saudi Arabia yesterday, coming back to a country under emergency rule imposed by President Pervez Musharraf.
"We want democracy and nothing else," Sharif told the BBC by telephone on arriving back in his hometown Lahore from the Saudi city of Medina.
US ally Musharraf imposed emergency rule on November 3 to safeguard his presidency, but, under pressure from Saudi's King Abdullah, he reluctantly acquiesced to Sharif's return.
