A question about preloading.

Hey i was just curious i am in the process of preloading HL2 and i wanted to know where the files go that are preloaded i have looked for them but i cant seem to find them. I know most of you know so please help me out.

it is a series of encrypted .gcf files

I went there but i dont see any files it seems to be empty. Could that be that they dont show up until preload is complete or what?

and for some gay reason my preloading % keeps dropping it WAS 85% and NOW its freakint 62% waht the hell?

They probably added another preload. Or you forgot how to count ;D

lol nah i can count but i started preloading like right after phase 6 i think thats the most current one aye? OH and btw i found those .gcf files.
