What do you guys think about South Park's portrail of Canadians? Do you guys really have two-piece flapping heads? Is the shape of all your military vehicles really square?
Is everyone there really rude and obnoxious like Terrance & Philip?

Sorry if this offends anyone, but I really want to know how Canadian viewers feel. It's a question I've been meaning to ask here for awhile now but never really thought about until now.

You see, unlike some Americans, we Canadians realize it's just a TV show, and in turn, we think it's funny, which is why we laugh at it and not give a shit if Americans think we have square vehicles, think we say 'aboot' and have flapping heads.

(didn't mean to sound mean)

Well atleast, I've never met anyone who said 'I ****ing hate South Park, they make fun of Canadians D: We should do something aboot this, but first lets go lumberjack some trees to get maple syrup, and go moose riding. After which we can go into our igloos and play hockies, the beavers can be goalies.'

I second that.

What's it 'aboot' again?

God that movie was funny.

Anyways, I'm sure there's at least some Canadians the South Park movie offended.
Just like there were probably some blacks the, "Operation: Human shield" thing offended too.

Nope, doesn't offend me at all. In fact, the episode where Canada goes on strike is probably the funniest episode I've ever seen

Generally I like to think of Canadians like the guava plant. When they first grow, like the guava they start off with a large mistratic center filled with milk. As they gradually grow into the third stage they get a lot of fiber in their veins, gives um a nice stringy texture. But by stage 4 they usually have a nice soft epedirmis that can be peeled back with a light potato cleaning utensil or for our more crafty members a small pickle fork.

dont anger the canadians, they might hit you with their hockey sticks....

haha....ha......ha......

Ugh, I hated that episode. It just showed that Stone and Parker were wannabe scabs.

I find it hilarious and don't really give a shit. Stereotypes when used in the right context is funny stuff.

Canadians are taking away jobs from hard working Americans

I take personal offense to any and all Canadian stereotype jokes and insults.

I'm far to busy watching us getting no medals in the olympics to be bothered with South Park. Even the frigging Tajikistan has a medal for crying out loud. I didn't even know that was a country.

Anyway, on topic, I love stereotypical jokes. Great stuff. No doot a boot it.

I don't really care. Sometimes I wonder how my head manages to float all by itself when I have my mouth open.

Why cry about it, they take the piss out of the British even more, as posh, crumpet and tea scoffing weirdos.

Spoilers: South Park mocks pretty much every country.

i was never really a fan of south park until i realized they made fun of everything this country takes serious...then i was hooked.

lets be honest though, it makes fun of itself (the US) alot more.

the Simpsons is a running joke about the worst of the worst of america ...it's entirely about stereotyping everything about america ..from the underachieving bart to fat and lazy homer, it skewers american culture. I'm convinced if it were live action instead of aniumated it would never have been put on air

Or stab you to death with a hunting knife on a Greyhound Bus and then chop you up, eating small pieces of your body and then decapitate your head.

that guy is a pussy, a real canadian would have used a spoon

Honestly, I think Americans (mostly "moral guardians" [my ass]) make a bigger deal South Park than the Canadians do.
I mean, we all freak out over the content, and yet you guys just sit there laughing your ass off respecting it for being what it is; a frickin TV show.
I envy you guys.

YOU SON OF A BITCH I USED THAT SMILEY FIRST I KEEEEEEEEEEL YOU.

caplockage!

Whats funny is that almost every South Park episode makes fun of Americans, but nobody notices it. AMERKIANS R DUM LOLOLOL

U nubs, I've been using that smiley on MSN for years.

Spoons are really dangerous. When I was 11 or so I was having a sleepover with a friend and she threw a spoon at me. It hit me in the eyebrow and it was bleeding all over the place. lol
That't true. A spoon to the eyebrow is more dangerous than a spoon to the jugular.

I guess the reaction I got tho this thread is what I expected. Probably the only ones who are offended are older Canadians/Americans/Chirstians etc.
I wouldn't care if they made fun of me tbh. It'd be cool enough just to be a character on South Park alone.
BTW, did anyone see the episode where Chef got killed? Rumor has is that the voice actor for Chef was offended for some reason and quit, so the producers decided to kill him off in the series.
