A question or two...

Okay, I am pretty sure the stuttering and lagging in a few games is due to my "cheap" ram. I am now willing to shell out for some "nicer" ram. I want to get a gig total so I can take out the 512 already there and save it for who knows what. Okay the pc needs PC2700, which brands should I consider, and the latency(don't quite understand that about memory, maybe someone could help me out with that too)?

Also, could you provide links for the memory which you prefer, etc? Thanks

AMD Athlon XP 3000+(333fsb)
512mb ram(not sure the company got it cheap though..)
Asus A7V600
ATi Retail X800 Pro

Corsair and Crucial for me. the best makes imo, well.. only ones i've used.

I'm gonna get a gig of OCZ Value VX's this week, allong with the rest of my new pc. Gaming scores on those are awesome, and you can't beat the price! Around 145 USD at Newegg.

the OCZ value BH5's are pretty good too, overclock like a mother (or so the reviews say) and yeild high overclocked framerates, but they cost lots more. Around 195 USD on Newegg. Might have gone up since last I checked though.
