A real headcrab

Ugh, I swear, I could see the crab move.

It sure is. But most things found in the deep sea are. I'm telling you, SETA should stop looking for alien life in distant galaxies and should instead somehow explore the sea. Thers so much stuff down there, even weirder than aliens in Half-Life, and plenty that hasn't been discovered.

I would hate to have that thing lunge at my head.

Its just a crab

Hrmm. Dunno about you, but where we come from you don't see a four foot crab with long spindly legs like that every day. And anyway it looks pretty much the same as the fast headcrabs.

ITS JUST A CRAB!
... you'd have thought none of you had ever seen a crab before

That's like saying Godzilla is "just a lizard"

Due to poor sentence structure, or lack of knowledge, you just said something that you didn't mean to.

"you'd have thought everyone had seen a crab before"
Would be the correct thing to say.

the *fake* picture of that headcrab from the DR looks very fake

@vegeta897
I think what isis meant was people are acting like they have never seen a crab before..which might lead some people to think that they actually haven"t seen a crab before

therefore isis's post was grammatically(sp?) correct

besides shadow6899 has a very good point!

I'd hit it.

... with a sledgehammer.

The thing about the good Dr.'s pics are when you compare the headcrab to the hand with the needle it starts to look more like a hand-crab, it could be a baby though.

I meant its just a crab with long legs. If you'd have seen a crab before, you would just just think 'meh, what long legs that crab has!' instead of 'omg a headcrab'.
