From what we mere motals can gather, the mods are angry at Munro because they say he isn't providing the changes he promised and won't upload the new content.

On the other hand Munro says is very busy in real life, and he won't accept sub-par content.

That's the gist of what I could gather, but it's obviously a lot deeper.

Also, Munro's lack of communication with the Mods and apparent unwillingness to delegate tasks.

But as far as I can tell, the situation is being resolved.

Pi resigned in support of Zerimski, but Munro talked to them and apparently things are changing.

I don't think being a moderator's exactly 'fun'. Except for despots.

I don't think the issue is people not wanting to be mods anymore. It's a protest resignation. You know, compare it with going on strike or something, worker's union.

Or politicians who resigned over the Iraq war (although that analogy is extreme).
