A Sketch

I was particularly bored yesterday and went over a rough old sketch in a biro, ended up spending a couple of hours on it. It's supposed to be a futuristic-y police dude.

It's annoying how you don't spot all the mistakes until you've scanned it in. I'll try to carry on with it, but we'll see how it goes.

very ****ing nice. solid drawing, not perfect, it's a little flat, and the shading under his chin in particular is weird, but it's got soul and that's enough for me. he really looks alive.

Thanks Definitely agree with you there Harij, it looked fine until I scanned it in. The helmet in particular really bugs me as being completely flat.

I've been a bit busy lately, but I did spend a little while on it yesterday. Not much progress, but hey...
