A7X Drummer Dead.

I like A7X, not my favorite band but I listen to them from time to time. Sucks he died, he was a pretty darn good drummer.

James Owen Sullivan, the drummer with California band Avenged Sevenfold, was found dead on Monday, according to police. He was 28.

So yeah, heard about this last night after my brother (who was in tears) woke me up to tell me... devastating news to us, and still upsetting news to everyone else. I actually met The Rev last year at a signing, you really could see genuine warmth and kindness even in the 10 seconds I spoke to him. A very sad day for music fans in general and especially us Avenged Sevenfold fans who basically grew up listening to their music, watching their videos, seeing them live, and such. A final loss for 2009, which seemed to be overflowing with artists, musicians, and actors dying before their time.

Regardless if you like Avenged Sevenfold's music or not, it's still a tragedy no matter how you spin it. His passing won't be like John Lennon's or Michael Jackson's- there won't be mass mourning or TV specials dedicated to The Rev's life- but for the people whose lives he did touch with his creativity and talent (such as mine) his passing is no less bitter or easily bearable.

RIP Jimmy Sullivan, you will be most sorely missed.

yeah, i was online and read that, then was talking to some friends on my poetry site and they were all hysterical, like "oh my god, oh my god, he's dead, don't you care" ? and i was like...<()>...it sucks he died though, i like some of their songs.
