AA/AF...does it really make a difference

does aa/af really make a difference, b/c im waiting for my x800 xt pe but i cant find it so getting impatient so i am sorta leanin towards the 6800 ultra but u need a powerfull psu

Yes, it makes a huge difference in visual quality.

so should just wait for the x800 xt pe to be in stock..but im sort of worring about the ati company no longer making them and i wont be able to get them...will that ever happen, i hope it dont

Nothing beats X800XT in terms of AA and perfromance when AA is enabled or combined with AF.

:thumbs: Yes it's pretty odd that when AA and AF are enabled at high resolutions, the x800 line of cards tend to do remarkable.
