What does Anti Ailising do? and dont just say it removes ailising, can you explain what it is, possibabally with pictures?

Pretty interesting article. I would still go with ATI over Nvidia. Shader 3.0 is still too far off on the horizon to predict performance figures or if it will even be used.

On topic - Nobody has mentioned this yet, but AA does involve a performance hit when turned on. Also a few games (mostly console ports) like Halo don't support AA. But if you have a fast enough graphics card, it is worth turning on AA for games.
