Im really pissed by now,I am having this weird problem on CSS and HL2.Whenever I play every 5-10 seconds Gordon just goes and doesnt stop moving or shooting, then it freezes for a second and then I can move again.Really irritating, cant even make one kill in CSS.
My specs are
Pentium4 2.4ghz
512DDR ram
64Mb Intel Extreme Graphics
WindowsXP
and does it matter if its a laptop or it doesnt, also I cant change the settings.WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY.This is seriously phuked up. :sniper: :sniper: :sniper: :sniper: :sniper: :sniper:

That intel is extremly bad for playing games.

But my freind had a laptop and when he actually had a look at how much ram was allocated to the graphics card in the bios he found out that only 8 megs was allocated and we bumped it up to 128 and the game ran better for him.

The thing with laptops is.

Power, a game like half life 2 is extremly power hungry on a laptop so the laptop might be throttling itself cpu speed wise to compensate.

Heat, the laptop could be overheating and then it would slow itself down to try and stop overheating.

It may be overheat because in the begining its all good but than comes a moment where its just frame by frame. But the movement problem is always allocated.Damn it.Where exactly did u find the 3d card in the BIOS because IVe been looking but never found it,I can find it on my other pc but not on the laptop.!
I guess I will be upgrading my home pc  ;(

Well it was a different laptop with a radeon 9100 IGP so I have no idea if you have an option in your bios.

As he was starting up we pressed f2 or something.

OH darn his has a separate 3d card cuz I think mine cam with the motherboard,i think im talking bull right now but who cares, anyway I will try to fix it.
